    This movement builds trust and strengthens relationship between the agency and its stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and timely completion of the 886 million irrigation project.

  • Occidental Mindoro - The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) MIMAROPA Regional Manager Ronilio M. Cervantes has taken swift action to address the concerns raised by farmers in Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro regarding the lack of water supply for their crops. Prompted by an appeal aired on TV Patrol last July 8, 2023, the NIA team at the Occidental Mindoro Irrigation Management Office (IMO) immediately extended assistance to the affected farmers.

  • Romblon - Acting Regional Manager Ronilio M. Cervantes led the inauguration and turnover ceremony of Pandan Communal Irrigation System-Solar Pump Irrigation Project (CIS-SPIP) on July 4, 2023 at Brgy. Pandan, Sta. Fe, Romblon.

    This project, under the Mindoro Oriental-Marinduque-Romblon (MOMARO) Irrigation Management Office (IMO) program will provide irrigation services to 10 hectares of farmland benefitting the 22 farmers of Pandan Irrigators Association.

  • Romblon- NIA MIMAROPA, headed by Acting Regional Manager Ronilio M. Cervantes turned over the Marigondon Sur Communal Irrigation System- Solar Pump Irrigation Project (CIS-SPIP) to 13 farmers in the municipality of San Andres in Romblon on July 4, 2023.

    This project, under the program of Mindoro Oriental-Marinduque-Romblon (MOMARO) Irrigation Management Office (IMO), has a service area of 10 hectares located at Brgy. Doña Trinidad in the said municipality.

  • Narra, Palawan - In a remarkable display of unity and commitment to environmental conservation, the Palawan Irrigation Management Office (IMO), headed by Division Manager Armando L. Flores, and 37 Irrigators Associations (IAs) of Malatgao Batang-Batang River Irrigation System (MBBRIS) joined the simultaneous tree planting activity on June 30, 2023 as part the NIA’s National Greening Program (NGP) with a theme “Tao, Agrikultura at Kalikasan para sa Progresibong Kaunlaran”.

  • Romblon - In a significant step towards promoting sustainable agriculture and boosting livelihoods, the Acting Regional Irrigation Manager of the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) MIMAROPA recently met with the Regional Manager of Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) Region IV to explore potential areas of collaboration and convergence.

  • Manila - In a concerted effort to promote collaboration and explore avenues for synergy, NIA MIMAROPA Acting Regional Manager Engr. Ronilio M. Cervantes conducted a courtesy call to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR). The primary objective of the visit was to discuss the possible convergence projects aimed at fostering sustainable development in the region. The courtesy call was held on July 3, 2023 at the respective Regional Offices of DSWD and DENR in Manila.

  • Oriental Mindoro - In a bid to foster collaboration and explore potential synergy, NIA MIMAROPA Acting Regional Manager, Engr. Ronilio M. Cervantes, initiated a meeting with the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Regional Director, Mr. Emmanuel H. Asis. The purpose of the visit was to discuss possible convergence projects that will benefit the Irrigators’ Associations of MIMAROPA Region.
