As of December 31, 2019, the total developed area is 103,329.80 hectares or 71.98% out of the estimated potential irrigable area of 143,558.95 hectares. Out of this developed area, 30,950.46 hectares are under NIS, 46,021.63 hectares are under CIS, 13,761.71 hectares under PIS and 12,596 hectares are under OGA. The remaining potential area to be developed is 40,229.15 hectares. The estimated potential irrigable areas are those primarily devoted to rice and corn with up to 3% slope.
