  • Oriental Mindoro - The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) MIMAROPA Region is conducting turnover ceremony of regional leadership at its Covered Court, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro on October 14, 2022 lead by Sr. Deputy Administrator Atty. Eryl Royce Nagtalon on behalf of Administrator Benny D. Antiporda. Engr. Ronilio M. Cervantes of the NIA CAR is taking over the helm of Engr. William P. Ragodon of MIMAROPA region who is moving to the NIA Central Office to provide direct support to the office of the Sr. Deputy Administrator.

  • Oriental Mindoro - Seven (7) newly-appointed employees of NIA MIMAROPA took their oath of office before Regional Manager William P. Ragodon on September 29, 2022 at the NIA Training Center, Bayanan II, Calapan City.

  • Oriental Mindoro - NIA MIMAROPA led by Administrative and Finance Division Manager Kirsty Caroline M. Hernandez-Aceron, with the support of Regional Manager William P. Ragodon, conducted the Training on Basic and Advanced Computer Literacy on September 7-8, 2022 at NIA Training Center, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.

  • Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro - The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) MIMAROPA welcomes Engr. Fidel P. Martinez as the new chief of Palawan Irrigation Management Office (IMO) during the turnover ceremony on September 2, 2022. NIA MIMAROPA Regional Manager William P. Ragodon presides the activity together with the Regional and IMO Division Managers.

  • Oriental Mindoro - NIA MIMAROPA, with the support of Regional Manager William P. Ragodon, conducted the 2nd Nutrition Advocacy Seminar as part of the Wellness Restoration Project of the agency on August 23, 2022 at NIA Training Center, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.

    The activity aims to encourage healthy eating for the officials and employees to promote good health, increase productivity, reduce absenteeism and improve nutritional well-being.

  • El Nido, Palawan - The National Irrigation Administration inaugurates the P22-million Villa Paz Communal Irrigation Project (Phase I and Phase II) on August 15, 2022. Said project is under the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program-Irrigation Component (CARP-IC).

    The project is composed of construction of diversion dam and canal structures which will now benefit 38 farmer beneficiaries and will irrigate 40 hectares of farmland in Barangay Villa Paz.

  • Oriental Mindoro - To protect the NIA personnel from Influenza, protect the general health, prevent transmission of Influenza among NIA personnel and create a healthier and more productive workplace as stated in NIA Memorandum Circular No. 59 s. 2017, NIA MIMAROPA Regional Office, with the support of Regional Manager William P. Ragodon, conducted its second Influenza Vaccination Program on July 20, 2022 at the NIA MIMAROPA Compound. The activity is in partnership with the Luna Goco Medical Center headed by Dr. Ma. Estrella Goco-Marasigan.

  • Oriental Mindoro - NIA MIMAROPA, headed by Regional Manager William P. Ragodon, AFD Manager Kirsty Caroline M. Hernandez-Aceron and EOD Manager Lowell L. Lozano, conducted the CY 2022 First Semester Regional Review and Planning Workshop on July 12-15, 2022. Also present are key personnel from MOMARO IMO headed by Division Manager Gerardo R. Perez and Occidental Mindoro IMO headed by Division Manager Raymundo L. Calusin. Joining via Zoom are the key personnel from Palawan IMO headed by Division Manager Conrado V. Cardenas Jr.
