  • Oriental Mindoro - NIA MIMAROPA, with the support of Regional Manager William P. Ragodon, conducted the Nutrition Advocacy Seminar as part of the Wellness Restoration Project of the agency on June 16, 2022 at NIA Training Center, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.

    The activity aims to encourage healthy eating for the officials and employees to promote good health, increase productivity, reduce absenteeism and improve nutritional well-being.

  • Oriental Mindoro - NIA MIMAROPA celebrated its 11th Anniversary last May 19, 2022 with the theme “NIA MIMAROPA: 11 Years of Efficient Irrigation Service through Synergy, Sustainability and Security.” Led by Regional Manager William P. Ragodon, EOD Manager Lowell L. Lozano and AFD Manager Kirsty Caroline M. Hernandez-Aceron, the agency conducted various activities like mass, parade and opening of wellness restoration program and sportsfest. Said celebration was participated by Regional Office, MOMARO IMO and Occidental Mindoro IMO led by Division Managers Gerardo R.

  • Oriental Mindoro - NIA MIMAROPA, headed by Regional Manager William P. Ragodon, AFD Manager Kirsty Caroline M. Hernandez-Aceron and EOD Manager Lowell L. Lozano, conducted the Seminar on the Use of Gender-Fair Language on March 23, 2022. The employees of Regional Office participated in the activity via face-to-face and virtual attendance.

  • Oriental Mindoro - To continuously improve the irrigation development of MIMAROPA, the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) MIMAROPA inaugurated various irrigation projects with a total cost of P1.17-billion on March 29, 2022. Said projects will provide irrigation water to 6,795.50 hectares of farmland in the region with 1,784 farmer beneficiaries.

    NIA MIMAROPA - One of the big-ticket irrigation projects in Oriental Mindoro amounting to P890M is up for inauguration this March 2022 – the Bongabong River Irrigation Project.

    Bongabong River Irrigation Project has a design service area of 6,000 hectares with a 5,500 cubic meters design flood which will benefit about 3,000 farmer beneficiaries and stakeholders in the municipalities of Bongabong, Roxas and Mansalay in the said province.

Estrella Luna-Goco Marasigan. The said activity aims to protect the employees from Pneumoccocal infections, thus, creating a healthier and more productive workplace.

  • Oriental Mindoro - NIA MIMAROPA Regional Office-Equipment Unit personnel Mr. Lorenzo Ambay Jr. and Mr. Marvin Paderes monitors the conduct of the Preventive Maintenance for the Wheeled Excavator Volvo 145 B Prime of the Mindoro Oriental-Marinduque-Romblon Irrigation Management Office. at San Andres, Naujan, Oriental Mindoro last March 9, 2022. The maintenance activities include changing the engine oil, gear oil/differential and swing motor oil, all fuel filters, aircon cabin filter and engine air filter.

  • Oriental Mindoro - NIA MIMAROPA, headed by Regional Manager William P. Ragodon, conducts the evaluation of Inventory of Irrigation Systems for CY 2021 on February 22-24, 2022. NIA Central Office Operations Acting Department Manager Delsy J. Revellame and System Management Division Manager Eusebio S. Villamanto and staff also attended the said activity. The said activity is very vital in the irrigation development performance of NIA MIMAROPA.
