Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro - The NIA Mindoro Oriental-Marinduque-Romblon (MOMARO) Irrigation Management Office (IMO), with the support of Acting Regional Manager Ronilio M. Cervantes, successfully facilitated the Annual Performance Review and Planning Workshop at Riceland II in San Vicente, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro, to assess the achievements and goals for CY 2023.
The activity was led by NIA MOMARO IMO Division Manager Gerardo R. Perez. During the activity, the heads of the Engineering Section, Operations and Maintenance, Administrative Unit, and Finance Unit shared their respective accomplishments.
The Engineering Division presented significant milestones in the improvement of irrigation infrastructure, while the Operations and Maintenance team emphasized their successful endeavors in maintaining and ensuring the optimal performance of current irrigation systems.
The Administrative Unit emphasized the crucial role of organizational support by detailing its contributions to the smooth coordination and administration of MOMARO IMO's activities. Furthermore, the Finance Unit demonstrated its proficient financial management, playing a key role in the sustainable and responsible allocation of resources.
The success of the activity inspires continued dedication to the vital task of irrigation management in the region.
Administrative and Finance Division Manager Kirsty Caroline M. Hernandez-Aceron, Engineering and Operations Division Manager Lowell L. Lozano, and Baco-Bucayao River Irrigation System (BBRIS) Head Maria Victoria O. Malenab also showed support during the activity.
