NIA MIMAROPA Marks NIA's 62nd Anniversary with Regionwide Bloodletting Drive

As part of the NIA's 62nd-anniversary celebration, NIA MIMAROPA recently conducted a regionwide bloodletting activity. This vital initiative was held in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross.

This bloodletting drive is an integral part of the "Bayanihan sa NIA MIMAROPA" program, now in its third year.

The activity saw participation across the region:

* The Regional Office and Mindoro Oriental-Marinduque-Romblon Irrigation Management Office (IMO) held their event on June 23, 2025, collecting a commendable 13 bags of blood.

Quezon City - The Calamundingan-Lucio Laurel Farmers Irrigators' Association, Inc. of Oriental Mindoro was recently recognized as a National Finalist for Outstanding Irrigators Associations (IA) Performers under the Communal Irrigation System (CIS) category. This prestigious acknowledgement was presented during the National Irrigation Administration's "Daloy ng Tagumpay" 62nd Anniversary celebration at the NIA Central Office in Edsa Diliman, by Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Secretary Conrado Estrella III, NIA Administrator Engr. Eduardo Eddie G.

NIA Recognizes Balansay Mimping Irrigators Association, Inc as Nation's Most Outstanding CARP-IC IA for CY 2024

The Balansay Mimping Irrigators Association, Inc. (BMIA) of Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro, was named the Most Outstanding Irrigators Association for CY 2024 under the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program-Irrigation Component (CARP-IC). This prestigious award was presented at the NIA Central Office in Edsa Diliman, Quezon City, during the "Daloy ng Tagumpay" celebration, marking NIA's 62nd anniversary.

MOMARO IMO Strengthened Project Planning for 2025 and 2026

Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Mindoro Oriental-Marinduque-Romblon (MOMARO) Irrigation Management Office successfully conducted a three-day Performance Review and Planning Workshop. Led by Division Manager Engr. Maria Victoria O. Malenab, the event was held at El Pueblo Rhizort and brought together Project-In-Charge (PICs), Institutional Development Program (IDP) implementers, and Accounting Personnel to meticulously review past and current projects and strategically plan for the future.
