NIA MIMAROPA Named Outstanding Regional Office for Two Consecutive Years

Quezon City - The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) MIMAROPA has been awarded the Outstanding Regional Office for CY 2024, marking their second consecutive year receiving this prestigious award. This achievement builds upon their prior recognition as Best Regional Office in 2018 and 2020.

During NIA's 62nd Anniversary celebration, "Daloy ng Tagumpay," held on June 27, 2025, at the NIA Central Office in Edsa Diliman, Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Secretary Conrado Estrella III, NIA Administrator Engr. Eduardo Eddie G. Guillen, and other distinguished officials presented the award.

This consistent recognition highlights NIA MIMAROPA's steadfast dedication to its mission of providing efficient and reliable irrigation services, which are crucial for the agricultural productivity of farmers in the MIMAROPA region.

This success is attributed to the bayaNIAn and persistent commitment of the entire NIA MIMAROPA team, led by the hardworking Regional Manager Engr. Ronilio M. Cervantes. Other key leaders include Engineering and Operations Division Manager Engr. Lowell L. Lozano, and Administrative and Finance Division Manager Kirsty Caroline M. Hernandez-Aceron. The leadership of the Irrigation Management Offices (IMOs) also played a crucial role: Mindoro Oriental-Marinduque-Romblon IMO Division Manager Engr. Maria Victoria O. Malenab, Occidental Mindoro IMO Division Manager Engr. Raymundo L. Calusin, and Palawan IMO Division Manager Engr. Armando L. Flores.
