NIA MIMAROPA Marks NIA's 62nd Anniversary with Regionwide Bloodletting Drive

As part of the NIA's 62nd-anniversary celebration, NIA MIMAROPA recently conducted a regionwide bloodletting activity. This vital initiative was held in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross.

This bloodletting drive is an integral part of the "Bayanihan sa NIA MIMAROPA" program, now in its third year.

The activity saw participation across the region:

* The Regional Office and Mindoro Oriental-Marinduque-Romblon Irrigation Management Office (IMO) held their event on June 23, 2025, collecting a commendable 13 bags of blood.

* The Occidental Mindoro IMO also conducted its activity on June 23, 2025, successfully gathering 24 bags.

* The Palawan IMO followed suit on June 26, 2025, with 15 bags donated.

In total, the regionwide effort resulted in a significant collection of 52 bags of blood, all conducted at their respective venues.

This successful bloodletting activity underscores NIA's broader mission: to not only provide essential irrigation water but also to actively engage in corporate social responsibility initiatives that benefit the communities it serves.
