Quezon City - NIA MIMAROPA was once again recognized for its excellence, receiving the Outstanding Regional Office Award for CY 2023 during the NIA's 61st Anniversary celebration held on June 21, 2024, at the NIA Central Office in Edsa Diliman, Quezon City.

Presented by DA Undersecretary Christopher Morales, NIA Administrator Engr. Eduardo Eddie G. Guillen, and other distinguished officials, the award highlights NIA MIMAROPA's consistent achievements, adding to their recognitions as the Best Regional Office for the years 2018 and 2020.

Oriental Mindoro - The NIA MOMARO IMO, led by Mindoro Oriental-Marinduque-Romblon (MOMARO) Irrigation Management Office (IMO) Acting Division Manager Engr. Maria Victoria O. Malenab, is actively distributing farm inputs such as fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, and molluscicides to Irrigatorms’ Associations. This initiative supports Administrator Engr. Eduardo Eddie G. Guillen’s Rice Contract Farming Scheme.

Palawan - The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Contructors' Performance Evaluation System (CPES) Implementing Unit conducted a thorough assessment of multiple civil works projects for the year 2023 administered by NIA MIMAROPA, Palawan Irrigation Management Office (IMO) on June 4-11, 2024.

Rizal, Palawan - The Malapandeg Farmers Irrigators’ Association, Inc. in Punta Baja, Dr. Jose P. Rizal, Palawan, underwent a field evaluation and validation conducted by the National Irrigation Administration-Central Office on June 4, 2024. The evaluation results will determine the IA’s qualifications for the Annual Search for National Outstanding Irrigators’ Association Performers in the Communal Irrigation System category.
