  • Oriental Mindoro - National Irrigation Administration MIMAROPA clarifies the guidelines on the Republic Act 10969 otherwise known as Free Irrigation Service Act (FISA) during an orientation on May 21, 2019.

    NIA Consultant Bayani P. Ofrecio explains the implementing rules and regulations of the said law to 130 members and officials of Irrigators Association (IA) in the province.

  • Oriental Mindoro - NIA MIMAROPA underwent the readiness assessment on the Quality Management System last May 8-10, 2019 for the upcoming ISO certification of the 3rd Party auditors. Said assessment was conducted by NIA Central Office Internal Quality Auditors (IQA): Engr. Eusebio Villamanto and Engr. William Cabigao.

  • Palawan - Bayani P Ofrecio, the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Consultant from the Office of the Deputy Administrator oriented 86 IA Presidents/Representatives of Irrigators Association about Republic Act 10969 or otherwise known as Free Irrigation Service Act (FISA) conducted by Palawan Irrigation Management Office headed by Engr. Conrado V. Cardenas, Jr. on April 30, 2019.

  • Oriental Mindoro - NIA MIMAROPA undertakes project feasibility study preparation seminar workhop headed by Regional Manager William P. Ragodon on March 12-15, 2019 for Batch 1 and March 19-22, 2019 for Batch 2 at Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro. Said activity aims to strengthen the knowledge and skills of Project in-Charge (PIC) or Irrigation Engineers, Irrigators Development Officers (IDOs) and Sr. Water Resource Facilities Technicians (SWRFTs). Regional Manager Ragodon and Engr. Myra B. Madriaga served as the resource speakers for the said activity.

  • Oriental Mindoro - "Relative to this year's theme, we can modernize our irrigation system kung yung ginagawa noon ay i-adjust natin ngayon. In terms of innovation, tatlo ang kailangan natin. Experience, familiarity and implementation."

    These were the words of Regional Manager William P. Ragodon during the NIA Ushering 2019 held on January 14, 2019 at Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro. This was participated by employees of NIA MIMAROPA Regional Office and MOMARO IMO. Palawan IMO and Occidental Mindoro IMO also conducted the same activity.

  • Oriental Mindoro - NIA MIMAROPA Security personnel underwent orientation seminar with guest speaker Gen Loreto Espineli (Ret), NIA Security Consultant. Gen Espineli tackled the 11 general orders, code of conduct, report writing for security personnel, counter intelligence, VIP protection and security, personnel security investigation, security survey and inspection, principles of combat shooting, and gun safety: fundamentals of handgun shooting.

  • Oriental Mindoro - NIA MIMAROPA received a Plaque of Commendation from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) as one of its stakeholders. The plaque was given on December 13, 2018.

  • Palawan - “Coordinate, cooperate and collaborate so that the projects of NIA will be properly implemented.” National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Administrator Gen Ricardo R Visaya (Ret) gives a short message during the NIA Stakeholders Forum held last February 20, 2018 in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. Joining the activity were Palawan 3rd District Representative Hon.

  • Oriental Mindoro -  “Our men, our best asset.” These were the encouraging words of the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) chief GEN RICARDO R VISAYA (Ret) during his visit in NIA MIMAROPA on October 11-12, 2017. With him is the newly-appointed Deputy Administrator for Administrative and Finance MGEN ROMEO G GAN (Ret). They were welcomed by NIA MIMAROPA employees headed by Regional Manager William P.
