Oriental Mindoro - NIA MIMAROPA headed by Acting Regional Manager Ronie Cervantes participated in the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) for 2nd Quarter of CY 2023 on June 8, 2023, 9:00 AM.

NIA MIMAROPA employees executed the "duck, cover and hold" procedure and evacuation drill properly at the set time.

This activity is one of the government's efforts to ensure awareness and preparedness and response measures on the occurrence of a real earthquake.

Occidental Mindoro - NIA MIMAROPA headed by Acting Regional Manager Ronilio M. Cervantes conducts the Orientation on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Standards at NIA Training Center, Bayanan II, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro. The activity aims to provide guidance and orient the Human Resource personnel in formulating new policies relative to employees' welfare particularly occupational safety and health standards. Moreover, this activity aims to orient the NIA MIMAROPA Region Occupational Safety and Health Committee.

Occidental Mindoro - With the support of Acting Regional Manager Ronilio M. Cervantes, NIA Occidental Mindoro Irrigation Management Office (IMO) Acting Division Manager Maria Victoria O. Malenab participated in the distribution of Certificate of Land Ownership Awards (CLOA) and turn-over of Mambog-Ato Small Irrigation Project (SIP) conducted by the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR). The event was held last June 2, 2023, at the Provincial Training Center, Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro, with the theme “Pag-Asa ng Benepisyo Mindoreños”.
