The 2023 National Information and Communications Technology Month (NICTM) carries the theme, Connecting Communities, Enriching Lives, Forging a Digital Future for the Philippines, to focus on innovation, impact, collaboration and inclusivity as imperatives for a digital society. Through this commemoration, we aim to underscore the critical importance of ICT in propelling the Philippines towards a digital future and fostering progress across all sectors.
This is in pursuant to Proclamation No. 1521, s. 2008, which designated the month of June of 2008 and every subsequent year as the NICTM and in line with the Republic Act No. 10844 that established the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) to annually celebrate and recognize the role of ICT in national development.
