NIA MIMAROPA Conducts Meeting on the Implementation of Rice Contract Farming

Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro - The NIA MIMAROPA Technical Working Group (TWG) on Rice Contract Farming, headed by Regional Manager Engr, ROnilio M. Cervantes, along with Engineering and Operations Division Manager Engr. Lowell L. Lozano, convened on March 13, 2024, to review and discuss the progress of activities related to the implementation of Rice Contract Farming.

Additionally, they discussed the progress of the preparation of bidding documents for posting on PhilGEPS.

Lozano, convened the NIA MIMAROPA’s Technical Working Group (TWG) along with its focal person on the NIA Farming Support Project/Contract Farming last Monday, March 11, 2024.

NIA MIMAROPA Meets Occidental Mindoro Leaders to Combat El Niño's Threat to Agriculture

Magsaysay, Occidental Mindoro - On March 12, 2024, the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) MIMAROPA, led by Regional Manager Engr. Ronilio M. Cervantes, held a crucial meeting with municipal mayors in Occidental Mindoro including, Hon. Dante C. Esteban of Calintaan, Hon. Rey Ladaga of San Jose, Ernesto C. Pablo Jr. of Rizal, and Hon. Cesar M. Tria Jr. of Magsaysay. Additionally, the meeting in Sablayan was participated by Municipal Administrator Norman A. Novio, representatives from Planning and Engineering offices, and the Municipal Agriculture Office.
