NIA MIMAROPA conducts Performance Review of Physical and Financial Accomplishment

Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro - Spearheaded by Acting Regional Manager Ronilio M. Cervantes, NIA MIMAROPA conducts Performance Review of Physical and Financial Accomplishment as of July 15, 2023 at the NIA Training Center, Bayanan II, Calapan City. The two-day activity aims to closely monitor and review the status of physical and financial accomplishment of NIA MIMAROPA of ongoing and carryover projects versus the targeted accomplishment and ensure the completion within the scheduled contract duration.

NIA-OMIMO Conducted Contractors' Forum for CY 2023 Project Implementation Progress

San Jose, Occidental Mindoro - In an effort to assess the implementation of projects slated for the year 2023, National Irrigation Administration (NIA) - Occidental Mindoro Irrigation Management Office (OMIMO), headed by Division Manager Raymundo L. Calusin, conducted a Contractors' Forum on August 2, 2023, at the NIA Training Center in San Jose. Aside from the Contractors, key personnel from the Engineering and Institutional Development Section also attended the meeting.

NIA-OMIMO Conducted Coordination Meeting with Mayor Tria of Magsaysay to Discuss Infrastructure Projects

Occidental Mindoro - National Irrigation Administration (NIA) – Occidental Mindoro Irrigation Management Office (OMIMO), headed by Division Manager Raymundo L. Calusin, initiated a coordination meeting with Mayor Cesar M. Tria Jr., of Magsaysay last August 1, 2023, to discuss important projects that the Local Government Unit (LGU) of the said municipality initially requested to NIA. The meeting involved the discussion of the provision of Solar Pump Irrigation, and Concreting and Re-gravelling of Service Roads/Farm-to-Market Road.

NIA MOMARO IMO Conducts Desiltation Activities at Mulawin Dam of Baco-Bucayao RIS

Oriental Mindoro - The NIA Mindoro Oriental-Marinduque-Romblon (MOMARO) Irrigation Management Office (IMO) Operations Unit responded to the heavy siltation and sedimentation caused by Typhoon Egay and Typhoon Falcon by conducting desiltation activities at the Mulawin Dam. These efforts play a crucial role in maintaining a reliable water supply for irrigation, restoring the system's functionality, and safeguarding against potential water shortages.
