Assessment of Inventory of Irrigation Systems for CY 2022

Oriental Mindoro - NIA MIMAROPA Engineering and Operations Division (EOD) Manager Lowell L. Lozano leads the Assessment of Inventory of Irrigation Systems for CY 2022, at the NIA Training Center, Bayanan II, Calapan City. The three-day activity aims to assess and update the inventory data of national, communal, private and other government agencies irrigation systems as of December 31, 2022. Moreover, this activity is vital in the overall Operation and Maintenance (O&M) performance of NIA MIMAROPA.

REGIONAL MANAGER CERVANTES FAST TRACKS IMPLEMENTATION OF BAGTINGON SRIP

Marinduque - NIA MIMAROPA Regional Manager Ronilio M. Cervantes coordinated with Marinduque Provincial Administrator Vincent Michael Q. Velasco and staff, PENRO OIC Technical Services Division Chief Engr. Cynthia U. Lozano, and Buenavista Municipal Mayor Eduard L. Siena to discuss the implementation of Bagtingon Small Reservoir Irrigation Project (SRIP).

With him are NIA MIMAROPA Regional Office and NIA Marinduque personnel. The team also conducted site inspection with the contractor for the implementation of irrigation facilities in Buenavista.

NIA MIMAROPA CONDUCTS MONTHLY PERFORMANCE REVIEW

NIA MIMAROPA Acting Regional Manager Ronie Cervantes leads the Monthly Performance Review at the NIA Training Center, Bayanan II, Calapan City. The two-day activity aims to closely monitor the status of the physical and financial accomplishment of ongoing and carry-over projects and to ensure the unhampered delivery of services to all farmer-beneficiaries and other stakeholders of NIA. Moreover, this activity aims to help the agency in monitoring the progress of the irrigation development within the locality, which is a significant indicator of the overall performance of NIA MIMAROPA.

NIA PALAWAN IMO PUSHES CAMPAIGN ON FREE IRRIGATION AND CONDONATION OF ISF FOR IAs OF NIS, CIS IN THE PROVINCE

Palawan - To reduce the financial burden of small-scale farmers related to irrigation, the NIA - Palawan Irrigation Management Office (PIMO), headed by Division Manager Engr. Fidel P. Martinez, is continuing its efforts to make irrigation services free to farmers with the land of 8 hectares and below by conducting a campaign for free irrigation and condonation of unpaid Irrigation Service Fee (ISF) for farmers of the National Irrigation System.
