Oriental Mindoro - NIA MIMAROPA, with the support of Regional Manager William P. Ragodon, conducted the Nutrition Advocacy Seminar as part of the Wellness Restoration Project of the agency on June 16, 2022 at NIA Training Center, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.

The activity aims to encourage healthy eating for the officials and employees to promote good health, increase productivity, reduce absenteeism and improve nutritional well-being.

Oriental Mindoro - NIA MIMAROPA celebrated its 11th Anniversary last May 19, 2022 with the theme “NIA MIMAROPA: 11 Years of Efficient Irrigation Service through Synergy, Sustainability and Security.” Led by Regional Manager William P. Ragodon, EOD Manager Lowell L. Lozano and AFD Manager Kirsty Caroline M. Hernandez-Aceron, the agency conducted various activities like mass, parade and opening of wellness restoration program and sportsfest. Said celebration was participated by Regional Office, MOMARO IMO and Occidental Mindoro IMO led by Division Managers Gerardo R.

Oriental Mindoro - NIA MIMAROPA, headed by Regional Manager William P. Ragodon, AFD Manager Kirsty Caroline M. Hernandez-Aceron and EOD Manager Lowell L. Lozano, conducted the Seminar on the Use of Gender-Fair Language on March 23, 2022. The employees of Regional Office participated in the activity via face-to-face and virtual attendance.

Oriental Mindoro - To continuously improve the irrigation development of MIMAROPA, the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) MIMAROPA inaugurated various irrigation projects with a total cost of P1.17-billion on March 29, 2022. Said projects will provide irrigation water to 6,795.50 hectares of farmland in the region with 1,784 farmer beneficiaries.
