Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro - Salcedo Irrigators Service Association (SISA) of Bansud, Oriental Mindoro President Mr. Franklin G. Rodriguez received the cash award of P50,000 for Top Performing Irrigators’ Association under CARP category during the flag ceremony of NIA MIMAROPA on August 7, 2023 at NIA Compound, Bayanan II, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro. Prior to this activity, SISA of Bansud Oriental Mindoro and other top performing IAs nationwide were recognized during the Culminating Program last June 22, 2023 in celebration of the NIA 60th Anniversary.
Acting Regional Manager Ronilio M. Cervantes challenges the Occidental Mindoro Irrigation Management Office (IMO) and Palawan IMO concerned personnel to do their duties and responsibilities well so that their IAs would also be one of the top performing IAs nationwide next year or in the future years to come. He further congratulated and recognized the said IA, the MOMARO IMO institutional development program implementers, technical and operations field personnel for their dedication to serve the said IA. “Sana ay marami pang IA sa MIMAROPA ang maging best outstanding IA sa buong bansa,” he added.
NIA MIMAROPA Top Management together with CARP personnel handed over the award of the IA to SISA of Bansud, Oriental Mindoro President Rodriguez and Secretary Marjorie B. Bernardo.
Further, President Rodriguez expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the agency headed by Acting Regional Manager Ronilio M. Cervantes, Engineering and Operations Division Manager Lowell L. Lozano and Administrative and Finance Division Manager Kirsty Caroline M. Hernandez-Aceron especially to the assigned Irrigators’ Development Officer, Mr. Ronnie Rapilo and other field personnel of Mindoro Oriental-Marinduque-Romblon Irrigation Management Office with the guidance of their Division Manager Gerardo R. Perez for their unwavering support to the association throughout their journey for achieving the said award possible.
Regional Office and MOMARO IMO personnel also witnessed the said activity.
