Quezon City - The Salcedo Irrigators' Service Association (SISA) of Bansud, Oriental Mindoro was hailed as one of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program-Irrigation Component's (CARP-IC's) Top Performing Irrigators' Associations (IAs) nationwide in the NIA 60th Anniversary Celebration on June 22, 2023 at NIA Central Office, Open Grounds, Edsa Diliman, Quezon City.
NIA Top Management headed by Acting Administrator Eduardo Eddie G. Guillen awarded the plaque of recognition and 50,000 pesos cash prize to SISA President Franklin G. Rodriguez and IA Officials together with NIA MIMAROPA Regional Manager Ronilio M. Cervantes, Mindoro Oriental-Marinduque-Romblon (MOMARO) Irrigation Management Office (IMO) Manager Gerardo R. Perez, Institutional Development Unit Head Ave Jane V. Alvarado and MOMARO IMO Irrigators' Development Officer under CARP-IC Christian I. Garcia.
The event was also witnessed by the NIA Central Office and Field Offices delegates and IA awardees nationwide.
