NIA MIMAROPA'S FINANCE TEAM EARNS TOP HONORS FOR 2024 EXCELLENCE

QUEZON CITY – The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Financial Management Department, with the support of Administrator Engr. Eduardo Eddie G. Guillen, and under the guidance of Deputy Administrator for Administrative and Finance Sector, Robert Victor G. Seares, Jr. and spearheaded by Manager Ms. Milca B. Cayanga, celebrated the commendable efforts of finance personnel nationwide. A recognition ceremony was held on June 26, 2025, at the NIA Convention Hall, Central Office, to honor their outstanding financial management for Calendar Year 2024.

NIA MIMAROPA emerged as a standout performer, securing the Top 3 Most Outstanding Finance Section award. This achievement was made possible through the unwavering support of Regional Manager Engr. Ronilio M. Cervantes, the expert guidance of Administrative and Finance Division Manager Kirsty Caroline M. Hernandez-Aceron, and the leadership of Officer-in-Charge Ma. Eloisa M. Tuerto.

NIA MIMAROPA Corporate Accounts Analyst Annie Rose G. Cabral, along with other Finance Section personnel from across the nation, attended the event to receive their recognition.

* Top 1 Reconciliation Award: This award recognized their hard work and commitment in identifying and rectifying discrepancies, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of the company's financial records for CY 2024.

* Overall Early Bird Award: The team also received this recognition for their efficiency in submitting financial statements and reports well ahead of the deadline.
