NIA MIMAROPA Receives Two Awards at CY 2024 1st SMES for IDP Implementation

Tanay, Rizal - Under the leadership of Regional Manager Engr. Ronilio M. Cervantes, NIA MIMAROPA has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing the 4th spot in national rankings for the highest EPAHP (Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty) sales for the period January to June 2024, with a total of Php11,229,478.00. The region also garnered a Special Presentation Award for the Most Creative and Innovative Audio-Visual Presentation (AVP) for the CY 2024 1st Semester IDP Implementation.

The AVP showcased the accomplishments of IDP implementers in the region, highlighting the regional performance on IDP Regular Activities, Convergence Programs, other programs implemented by NIA like KADIWA sa NIA, Contract Farming Program and Gulayan sa Kanal with the ultimate goal of improving the farmer’s quality of life. The presentation was collaboratively produced by the Institutional Development Unit (IDU) of MOMARO IMO and the Regional Office, headed by Supervising IDO Engr. Ave Jane V. Alvarado.

These achievements were recognized during the closing program of the CY 2024 1st Semester Supervision, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Support (SMES) activities for the IDP Implementation. The event, which took place from July 22-26, 2024, was facilitated by the NIA Central Office Institutional Development Division (NIA CO-IDD), led by Division Manager Mr. Martin T. Tacloban and supervised by Operations Department Acting Manager Engr. Eusebio S. Villamanto. Hosted by NIA Region 4A (CALABARZON), headed by Regional Manager Engr. Roberto J. Dela Cruz, the event brought together IDP implementers from across the country to assess the regional and nationwide progress of IDP implementation and to discuss issues and concerns in the program implementation that need NIA Top Management Interventions. -Sr. IDO Irene V.
