Palawan - In a significant step towards enhancing infrastructure and disaster resilience in the province of Palawan, NIA MIMAROPA Regional Manager Engr. Ronilio M. Cervantes and Palawan IMO Division Manager Engr. Armando L. Flores have presented a list of project proposals for the CY 2025 convergence program to the Department of Public Works and Highways' Palawan District Engineering Offices.
These proposals centered on essential initiatives aimed at addressing flood control in vulnerable low-lying areas, improving farm-to-market roads to facilitate agricultural transport, and constructing Sabo dams for effective water management which holds a significant potential to benefit our constituents in the province.
The NIA and DPWH Palawan are geared up to jointly validate these proposed projects to ensure alignment with priorities and feasibility assessments while collaborating closely to bring these projects to fruition.
