Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro - In celebration of National Women's Month, the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) MIMAROPA held an informative seminar on Republic Act 10354, also known as the Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health Law of 2012 (RH Law). The seminar took place on March 4, 2024, at the NIA-IA Training Center in Bayanan II, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.
This initiative aimed to equip NIA MIMAROPA employees, both parents and future parents, with comprehensive knowledge about the RH Law and its significance within the framework of Gender and Development (GAD) related legislation.
The seminar welcomed esteemed resource speakers: Mark Laurence O. Guilles, RN, Population Program Officer III from the Commission on Population and Development (CPD) MIMAROPA, and Ma. Teresita N. Bolor, MD, Rural Health Physician from the Calapan City Health and Sanitation Department.
