Oriental Mindoro - NIA MIMAROPA headed by Regional Manager Ronilio M. Cervantes conducts a meeting on convergence program of government agencies for agricultural development on June 26, 2023 at NIA-IA Training Center, Bayanan II, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.
Said program aims to promote coordination, collaboration, and synergy among various government agencies involved in agriculture, irrigation, social welfare, labor and fisheries. Moreover, this program seeks to maximize the impact of the agencies in driving sustainable agricultural development, improving livelihoods, and ensuring food security for the Filipino people.
This meeting aims to present and discuss the strategies to be undertaken to realize the said convergence program.
Present also during the meeting are Mindoro Oriental-Marinduque-Romblon (MOMARO) Irrigation Management Office (IMO) Manager Gerardo R. Perez, Occidental Mindoro IMO Manager Maria Victoria O. Malenab, Operations Section Chief Shirley G. Bahia, Engineering Section representative John Joco T. Matutina, Operations Unit Head Edgard Laurenz M. Geronimo, Institutional Development Unit Head Ave Jane V. Alvarado, Institutional Development Program (IDP) implementers and other concerned engineering personnel of the Regional Office and MOMARO IMO. Palawan IMO Manager Armando L.
