NIA MIMAROPA Celebrates 13th Anniversary with Heartwarming "Adopt-a-Student" Program

In celebration of its 13th anniversary, the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) MIMAROPA, led by Regional Manager Engr. Ronilio M. Cervantes, Engineering and Operations Division Manager Engr. Lowell L. Lozano, and Administrative and Finance Division Manager Kirsty Caroline M. Hernandez-Aceron, launched the heartwarming "Adopt-a-Student" program.

This initiative exemplifies their unwavering commitment to social responsibility. Through generous employee donations, the program provided essential school supplies, educational learning materials, and hygiene kits to underprivileged students across the region. This act of kindness empowers these students to focus on their education and reach their full potential.

The Regional Office was able to help 120 students of Bucayao Elementary School in Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro, NIA Mindoro Oriental-Marinduque-Romblon (MOMARO) Irrigation Management Office (IMO) provided aid to 105 Indigenous People (IP) students at Lantuyang Elementary School in Baco, Oriental Mindoro, while the Occidental Mindoro IMO reached 147 students at San Roque II Elementary School in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, and the Palawan IMO assisted 50 students at Dumangueña Elementary School in Narra, Palawan.

Through the support of NIA MOMARO IMO Acting Division Manager Engr. Maria Victoria O. Malenab, Occidental Mindoro IMO Division Manager Engr. Raymundo L. Calusin, and Palawan IMO Division Manager Engr. Armando L. Flores, this program was made possible.
