Oriental Mindoro - With the theme “The Gift of Blood is the Gift of Life,” NIA MIMAROPA led by Acting Regional Manager Ronilio M. Cervantes carries out the Simultaneous Blood Letting Activity on May 25, 2023 at NIA Covered Court, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro. This is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility of the agency. The activity is in partnership with the Oriental Mindoro Blood Council. NIA Occidental Mindoro Irrigation Management Officer (IMO) and Palawan IMO also conducted the activity in their respective offices.
Acting Regional Manager Cervantes expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Oriental Mindoro Blood Council representatives for the support to the agency’s endeavor. “This is a precious gift that we can give to those who are in need.” Said Administrative and Finance Division Manager Kirsty Caroline M. Hernandez-Aceron during the closing ceremony in Calapan City.
Also present during the activity are Engineering and Operations Division Manager Lowell L. Lozano, MOMARO IMO Division Manager Gerardo R. Perez, Occidental Mindoro IMO Acting Division Manager Maria Victoria O. Malenab and Palawan IMO Division Manager Armando L. Flores.
Overall, NIA MIMAROPA gathered 38,250cc of donated blood from 85 donors.
