NIA MIMAROPA Attends in the Virtual Orientation with DSWD EPAHP and DRMD to Discuss the Cash for Work Program

Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro - As a result of the proactive coordination of the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) MIMAROPA, led by Regional Manager Engr. Ronilio M. Cervantes, with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to support El Niño-affected farmers, the NIA MIMAROPA Institutional Development Program (IDP) implementers, headed by Supervising Irrigators Development Officer Engr. Ave Jane V. Alvarado, attends a virtual orientation with DSWD's Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) and its Disaster Response Management Division (DRMD) in their respective offices.

The aim of the activity is to discuss the Cash for Work (CFW) program under DSWD's initiative.

The DSWD Cash for Work (CFW) Program offers financial assistance to participants in exchange for their labor and contribution to community projects.
