Calapan CIty, Oriental Mindoro - In honor of National Women's Month, the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Mindoro Oriental-Marinduque-Romblon (MOMARO) Irrigation Management Office (IMO) is spearheading a transformative initiative. With the theme "Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas: Kakayahan ng Kababihan, Patutunayan!", the NIA MOMARO IMO conducts a Health Awareness Seminar on March 20, 2024, at the NIA Training Center in Bayanan II, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.

The seminar showcases the expertise of Registered Nurse David Noel D. Aytin from Oriental Mindoro Provincial Hospital, who will deliver enlightening presentations on two vital subjects: "Sogie 101" (focusing on Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Expression) and "HIV 101". These talks will delve into critical areas concerning women's health and societal inclusivity, offering valuable insights and knowledge to attendees.

Following the seminar, a pivotal aspect of the program unfolds: HIV testing. Recognizing the significance of proactive health measures, participants will have the opportunity to undergo HIV testing on-site. This initiative underscores the commitment to promoting health and well-being within the community, ensuring access to essential healthcare services for all.
