BBRIS Federation Holds Regular Meeting to Address Local Farmers

Calapan CIty, Oriental Mindoro - On May 7, 2024, the NIA MOMARO IMO conducted the Baco-Bucayao River Irrigation System (BBRIS) Federation Regular Meeting at NIA Guesthouse, Bayanan II Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro. Attended by IA Presidents and Vice Presidents, the gathering aimed to provide a platform for discussing pertinent issues and concerns affecting the community.

One of the key topics on the agenda was the clarification of processes and updates regarding various activities and responsibilities of the Irrigators' Associations (IAs). This discussion sought to streamline procedures and ensure effective management of resources for the benefit of all stakeholders.

The NIA MIMAROPA Regional Manager Ronilio M. Cervantes showed his invaluable support and guidance underscoring the commitment of regional authorities to the success of local initiatives. Through collaborative efforts and open dialogue, participants were able to chart a path forward for addressing challenges and maximizing opportunities in the region's irrigation sector.
