The Association of Regional Directors and Operations Managers of the Philippines (ARDOMA), Inc. and Project Managers held its 3rd Quarter Conference in Palawan, MIMAROPA Region, from August 8 to 10, 2024. Under the leadership of ARDOMA President Engr. Raymundo B. Apil, the conference focused on aligning the agency's plans and programs with President Marcos' irrigation project priorities, emphasizing the welfare of Filipino farmers.
The gathering also addressed strategies to mitigate potential damages from typhoons and other calamities. Regional and project managers exchanged experiences and best practices in irrigation system implementation, operation, and maintenance.
This conference also provided a platform for regional and project managers nationwide to raise and address challenges within their jurisdictions.
Key topics included the status of the Contract Farming Program, presented by Institutional Development Division Manager Martin T. Tacloban, and the enhancement of flood control projects for disaster prevention.
NIA Administrator Engr. Eduardo Eddie G. Guillen urged all regional and project managers to collaborate with other agencies on convergence programs to benefit Filipino farmers.
