Oriental Mindoro - To evaluate and confirm continuity in compliance and effectiveness of the quality management system and relevance and applicability of scope including significant changes against the requirements for recertification, NIA MIMAROPA headed by Acting Regional Manager and Deputy Quality Management Representative Ronilio M. Cervantes underwent ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Implementation Audit (Reassessment) at the NIA Training Center, Bayanan II, Calapan City on April 12-14, 2023.

Oriental Mindoro - NIA MIMAROPA, particularly NIA Mindoro Oriental-Marinduque-Romblon Irrigation Management Office (MOMARO IMO), provides assistance to the DSWD of Oriental Mindoro by deploying stake trucks that will be used in transporting family food packs and relief goods to the victims of oil spill in the province.

Oriental Mindoro - Training Capacitation for the Implementation of Baco-Bucayao RIS Management Plan under Rehabilitation and Protection of Water Resources Supporting Irrigation System (R&P WRSIS) was conducted last March 13-14, 2023 by the consultant, Geographic Innovations for Development Solutions. Inc. (GRIDS) headed by Forester Milben A. Bragais and his team at NIA Training Center, Bayanan II, Calapan City. This training capacitation aims to acquaint all involved personnel in the implementation of the project.

Palawan - The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) - MIMAROPA Region, headed by Regional Manager Engr. Ronilio M. Cervantes is leading the way in creating a fairer future for farmers through the ongoing implementation of R.A. 10969 or Free Irrigation Service Act (FISA) to completely waive irrigation service fees (ISF) for all eligible farmers in the region.
