NIA MIMAROPA Participates in the Updating and Validation of the Farmers’ List for Cross-Checking of the Registry System for Basic Sector in Agriculture (RSBSA) Data

Pila, Laguna- On March 14, 2024, nineteen (19) IDP implementers from the NIA MIMAROPA Region, accompanied by two (2) IT staff members,participated in the 4th batch 2-day workshop focused on Updating and Validation of the Farmers’ List for Cross-Checking of the Registry System for Basic Sector in Agriculture (RSBSA) Data. This workshop was held at the NIA Region IV-A Training Center in Pila, Laguna, and was jointly facilitated by representatives from the NIA Central Office's Institutional Development Division (IDD) and the Corporate Planning Department's Management Information Division (CORPLAN-MID).

The primary objective of this workshop is to equip the participants with the requisite skills and competencies to effectively and efficiently carry out their respective related tasks. Additionally, the workshop aims to introduce methods to enhance the beneficiary identification process and ensure data accuracy by cross-checking with the Department of Agriculture's Registry System for Basic Sector in Agriculture (DA-RSBSA) and the NIA-Institutional Development Program (NIA-IDP), in collaboration with CORPLAN-MID.

The workshop includes interactive sessions and presentations where the output from each region will be shared for critique, fostering a comprehensive output.
