The FY 2025 NIA MIMAROPA's 2nd Quarter Performance Review of Physical and Financial Accomplishments commenced on July 16, 2025. During the review, Regional Manager Engr. Ronilio M. Cervantes emphasized, "Kailangang pataasin pa natin nang husto ang cropping intensity at average yield, kasabay ng pagpapalakas ng ating serbisyo para sa ating mga magsasaka."
During the activity, Engr. Cervantes also reiterated that awards for outstanding performers would be given in December. He underscored the importance of a thorough review of potential awardees and expressed his strong hope that NIA MIMAROPA would produce an outstanding Irrigation Management Office (IMO) this year, identifying this as one of his key targets. He urged all units to enhance their accomplishments and to discuss the implementation of the Farming Support Service Program (FSSP) during the assessment.
This three-day activity aimed to assess the implementation status of ongoing and carryover projects, ensuring that physical and financial targets were met. It also provided a venue to evaluate the performance of National and Communal Irrigation Systems, address institutional initiatives, and discuss administrative and financial matters. Ultimately, this review served as a strategic platform to validate accomplishments and reinforce NIA MIMAROPA’s commitment to effective and sustainable irrigation service delivery across the region.
During the activity, the Regional Office reviewed and assessed the presentations of accomplishments from the three Irrigation Management Offices (IMOs): the Oriental Mindoro-Marinduque-Romblon IMO, led by Division Manager Engr. Maria Victoria O. Malenab; the Occidental Mindoro IMO, led by Engr. Raymundo L. Calusin; and the Palawan IMO, led by Engr. Flores.
Key personnel from the Regional Office, including Engineering and Operations Division Manager Engr. Lowell L. Lozano, along with various Section Chiefs and Unit Heads, actively participated in the proceedings.
Meanwhile, Administrative and Finance Division Manager Kirsty Caroline M. Hernandez-Aceron joined virtually.
