NIA holds Cluster Review Workshop for the Preparation of FY 2025 Budget Proposal

Puerto Princesa City, Palawan - The National Irrigation Administration (NIA), headed by Administrator Eduardo Eddie G. Guillen, is currently conducting cluster review workshop for the preparation of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 budget proposal focusing on detailed discussions and finalizing Corporate Operating Budget proposals of regions 3, 4A, 4B, 5, and Balog-Balog Multipurpose Project (BBMP), led by Deputy Administrator for Engineering and Operations Sector Josephine B. Salazar.

The NIA MIMAROPA, under the management of Regional Manager Ronilio M. Cervantes, is hosting this activity from March 6-8, 2024 in Puerto Princesa City.

The workshop serves as a platform for the cluster’s key employees to ensure that all programs, activities, and budgets are in line with the National Irrigation Master Plan (NIMP) and comply with the Department of Budget and Management's Corporate Budget Memorandum (CBM) No. 46 issued in January 2024 and other internal guidelines by NIA.

Through this endeavor, NIA aims to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accountability in its budget allocation for irrigation projects that will benefit agricultural communities.
