Oriental Mindoro - NIA MIMAROPA Engineering and Operations Division (EOD) Manager Lowell L. Lozano leads the Assessment of Inventory of Irrigation Systems for CY 2022, at the NIA Training Center, Bayanan II, Calapan City. The three-day activity aims to assess and update the inventory data of national, communal, private and other government agencies irrigation systems as of December 31, 2022. Moreover, this activity is vital in the overall Operation and Maintenance (O&M) performance of NIA MIMAROPA.
EOD Manager Lozano and Administrative and Finance Division (AFD) Manager Kirsty Caroline M. Hernandez-Aceron in behalf of the Acting Regional Manager Ronilio M. Cervantes encouraged all the Irrigation Management Offices (IMOs) to raise all their queries and concerns to the NIA Central Office Systems Management Division representatives regarding the updating of inventory data of irrigation systems. EOD Manager Lozano also emphasizes that the cooperation of all the participants are needed to attain the objectives of the activity.
Further, SMD Principal Engineer A Ma. Lourdes J. Garriga said that all the IMOs are expected to present the inventory data of all the irrigation systems, O&M performance accomplishment and status of irrigation development as of December 31, 2022.
Present also during the activity were SMD Supervising Engineer A Jinky Lou M. Gumtang, Mindoro Oriental-Marinduque-Romblon IMO Gerardo R. Perez, Occidental Mindoro IMO Acting Division Manager Maria Victoria O. Malenab, Operations Section Chief Shirley G. Bahia and the key personnel of the Regional Office, MOMARO IMO and Occidental Mindoro IMO. Palawan IMO key personnel also joined via virtual attendance.
