Oriental Mindoro - As National Irrigation Administration (NIA) celebrates 59 years of demonstrating excellent performance by providing quality service to our farmer clients and established unwavering partnership with Irrigators Associations (IAs) and other agencies, the agency took this opportunity to commemorate such accomplishments through a ONE-day merriment conducted on June 20, 2022.
This year’s theme is
“Synergy. Sustainability. Security. NIA@59: Conquering the Challenges of the New Normal”
The local celebration was headed by Regional Manager William P. Ragodon together with EOD Manager Lowell L. Lozano and AFD Manager Kirsty Caroline M. Hernandez-Aceron. Also present were employees of NIA MOMARO IMO headed by Division Manager Gerardo R. Perez and Occidental Mindoro IMO headed by Division Manager Raymundo L. Calusin. Participants from Palawan IMO, Marinduque Office and Romblon Office joined the event virtually.
Various activities were conducted in line with the motif “Kulturang Pinoy” like Laro ng Lahi (Luksong Lubid, Sack Race, Tiyakad, Limburak, Basag Palayok, Bingo) and Championship Game for the Men’s Basketball. Aside from these, Loyalty Awardees were also recognized during the said event.#AVGB
