Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – To protect the health of its personnel and prevent the spread of influenza within the workplace, the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) MIMAROPA Regional Office conducted its annual influenza vaccination program on August 20, 2024. The program aligns with NIA Memorandum Circular No. 59, s. 2017, which aims to create a healthier and more productive work environment.
The vaccination program was held at the NIA MIMAROPA Training Center and was led by Regional Manager Engr. Ronilio M. Cervantes, along with Engineering and Operations Division Manager Engr. Lowell L. Lozano and Administrative and Finance Division Manager Kirsty Caroline M. Hernandez-Aceron.
The program was conducted in partnership with Labcure Laboratory Inc., represented by Vice President for Finance and Marketing Alfonso Barrientos Jr., MD, and Vice President for Administrative Services Abigail Aylette Garcia-Barrientos, MD. The medical team was assisted by Emmanuel C. Gutierrez, RN, Maria Carla Gutierrez, RN, Janice Acosta, and Nelia Dinglasan.
The successful completion of the influenza vaccination program is a significant step in protecting NIA personnel from the virus and promoting a healthier workplace.
