NIA MIMAROPA Conducts 2nd Quarter Performance Review of Physical and Financial Accomplishment

The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) MIMAROPA region conducted its 2nd Quarter Performance Review of Physical and Financial Accomplishment on July 10, 2024  at the NIA Training Center in Bayanan II, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro. This three-day activity aims to assess the region's performance against the defined workplan for CY 2024. It will also assist in developing strategies to expedite construction, operation, and maintenance processes, ultimately achieving the agency's set goals for the year.

The review will comprehensively monitor and evaluate the progress of ongoing and carryover projects within the region. This ensures the seamless delivery of irrigation services to all farmers and stakeholders affiliated with NIA MIMAROPA. © Engr. LD Madrigal

Regional Manager Engr. Ronilo M. Cervantes emphasized the importance of monitoring project areas during his message. He reminded technical and operations field personnel to strategize for potential La Niña-related crop damage.

Also leading the review are Engineering and Operations Division Manager Engr. Lowell L. Lozano, and key personnel from the Regional Office. Additionally, key personnel from the three Irrigation Management Offices (IMOs) headed by their Division Managers, MOMARO IMO Acting Division Manager Engr. Maria Victoria O. Malenab, Occidental Mindoro IMO Division Manager Engr. Raymundo L. Calusin, and Palawan IMO Division Manager are also participating in their respective venues.

This assessment underscores NIA MIMAROPA's commitment to streamlining project execution and strengthening support for its farmer-beneficiaries.
