Narra, Palawan - The Maligaya May Pag-Asa Irrigators Association (IA) of Malatgao River Irrigation System (Malatgao RIS) celebrates the inauguration and turnover of a new harvester under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) program of the Department of Agriculture – Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (DA-Philmec) on June 26, 2023, at Barangay Sandoval, Narra, Palawan.

Puerto Princesa City, Palawan - Palawan Irrigation Management Office (IMO) Division Manager Armando L. Flores discussed the list of CY 2024 irrigation projects with Congressman Edward S. Hagedorn, 3rd District Representative to improve agricultural development in Aborlan and Puerto Princesa City. The meeting was held on June 21, 2023 in Makati City.
 

Oriental Mindoro - To provide sufficient irrigation water supply to the farmers in the region amidst El Niño phenomenon, NIA MIMAROPA Acting Regional Manager Ronilio M. Cervantes inspects and monitors the repair of Cambunang Communal Irrigation System in Bulalacao, Oriental Mindoro during his field visit on June 28, 2023.

Acting Regional Manager Cervantes advised the contractor to finish the said project until July 15, 2023 to start irrigating the 172.96 hectares of farmland of the 80 beneficiaries in the municipality.
