Collaborative Fire Safety Inspection: Ensuring Compliance and Enhancing Preparedness at NIA MIMAROPA Regional Office

Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro - On February 13, 2024, FO1 John Ralph D. Mendoza, FO1 Prince Lester M. De Guzman, and FO1 Maria Angelica C. Marisela of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) in Calapan City conducted an unannounced fire safety inspection at the NIA MIMAROPA Regional Office located in Bayanan II, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro. With the esteemed cooperation of NIA MIMAROPA, led by Engineering and Operations Division Manager Lowell L. Lozano and Administrative and Finance Division Manager Kirsty Caroline M. Hernandez-Aceron, the inspection aimed to assess fire hazards and evaluate the efficacy of fire safety management within the premises.

The primary objective of the inspection was to ascertain compliance with all relevant standards pertaining to fire safety.

The collaborative effort between the Bureau of Fire Protection Calapan City, and NIA MIMAROPA, headed by Regional Manager Engr. Ronilio M. Cervantes underscores a shared commitment to prioritizing the safety and welfare of all individuals within the premises. By proactively assessing and addressing potential fire hazards, both parties aim to enhance the overall fire safety preparedness and resilience of the NIA MIMAROPA Regional Office.
