San Jose, Occidental Mindoro - The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) MIMAROPA is set to launch the "KADIWA sa NIA" initiative in Occidental Mindoro, aligning with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s vision for accessible and affordable quality food products for all Filipinos. This groundbreaking project seeks to empower local farmers by allowing them to directly market their produce to consumers, eliminating intermediary layers and enabling higher income for farmers.
The event is scheduled to take place in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, on November 16, 2023. Under the leadership of the Acting Administrator Eduardo Eddie G. Guillen, the launch of "KADIWA sa NIA" promises to bring a positive shift to the agricultural landscape of the region.
