  • Marinduque - On April 8, 2024, the National Irrigation Administration MIMAROPA Region (NIA MIMAROPA), led by Regional Manager Engr. Ronilio M. Cervantes, convened a meeting at the Governor's Office in Brgy. Santol, Boac, Marinduque. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the current status and address any concerns regarding the proposed construction of the Bagtingon Small Reservoir Irrigation Project.

  • Narra, Palawan - To support and improve farmers' lives and combat hunger and poverty, the NIA MIMAROPA, under the management of Regional Manager Engr. Ronilio M. Cervantes, and Palawan Irrigation Management Office (IMO), led by Division Manager Engr. Armando L. Flores, is set to gear up a seminar on pineapple and rice wine production for the Delta Falls Upper Lapu Lapu Irrigators Association (IA) in Narra town.

  • Bansud, Oriental Mindoro - With the full support of Regional Manager Engr. Ronilio M. Cervantes, NIA MIMAROPA conducted a training program on security services and firearm safety on April 5, 2024 at Bansud, Oriental Mindoro. This initiative focused on equipping Industrial Security Guards with the necessary skills and knowledge to ensure a safe work environment. The program covered essential security protocols to prevent unauthorized access, theft, and violence.

  • Palawan - As part of the 7-Point Strategic Policy Agenda of the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) headed by Administrator Engr. Eduardo Eddie G. Guillen, the NIA MIMAROPA under the management of Regional Manager Engr. Ronilio M. Cervantes and Palawan IMO headed by Division Manager, Engr. Armando L. Flores, through the Institutional Development Program implementers, facilitated an Orientation on Cooperatives for Irrigators’ Associations (IAs) of Roxas and San Vicente, Palawan.

  • Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro - The NIA MIMAROPA actively participated in the Masagana Rice Cluster Field Walk, held on March 26, 2024, at Brgy. Palayan in Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro. Represented by Irrigators Development Officer A Jonathan Geron emphasized key initiatives such as condonation programs, the Free Irrigation Act under NIA R.A. 10969, the Irrigation Management Transfer (IMT) Contract, and various convergence programs during the event.

  • NIA MIMAROPA Regional Manager, Engr. Ronilio M. Cervantes convenes with Congressional District Representatives, Governors, Mayors, and other Regional Lined Agencies (RLAs) of the MIMAROPA Region on March 20, 2024, to present and discuss the FY 2025 Budget Proposal of NIA MIMAROPA, duly endorsed by the Regional Development Council.

    This activity aims to review and critique the FY 2025 Budget Proposals of National Government Agencies for consideration by Congress, and subsequent enrollment to the FY 2025 National Expenditure Program.

  • Calapan CIty, Oriental Mindoro - In honor of National Women's Month, the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Mindoro Oriental-Marinduque-Romblon (MOMARO) Irrigation Management Office (IMO) is spearheading a transformative initiative. With the theme "Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas: Kakayahan ng Kababihan, Patutunayan!", the NIA MOMARO IMO conducts a Health Awareness Seminar on March 20, 2024, at the NIA Training Center in Bayanan II, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.

  • San Jose, Occidental MIndoro - National Women’s Month Celebration has been a yearly part of Gender and Development (GAD) activities of NIA Occidental Mindoro Irrigation Management Office (OMIMO). The GAD Focal Points System headed by Engr. Raymundo L. Calusin formulated a community-based approach to celebrate this year’s women’s month.
