Supervising Irrigators Development Officer

1. Minimum Qualification Requirements:

1. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Formulate plans and programs for the formation, organization and strengthening of irrigators association in various levels (provincial and regional);
• Prepare designs and proposals for Training of Trainers and technology enhancement programs for upgrading of skills of institutional development program (IDP) implementers;
• Formulate training designs for the conduct of irrigators associations continuing education and training as well as upgrading skills of institutional implementers;
• Plan and monitor the implementation of agricultural development programs, disseminates information and applicable technologies to improve agricultural production;
• Monitor and evaluate implementation of cropping calendar and pattern, water management and other farming activities and institute reforms if necessary;

• Attend meetings, conferences and seminar workshops for updating and upgrading knowledge and skills related to institutional development program;
• Coordinate with government and private agencies extending assistance to farmers for the availment of support services;
• Consolidate and evaluate the regular reports submitted and other related documents;
• Perform other related functions.

 III. Assessment Process:

1. Initial Assessment Steps
   
   1. HR Pre-screening
   2. Personnel Selection Board (PSB) screening
2. Further Assessment Steps
   
   1. Work-related Written examinations
   2. Panel interview
   3. Other related tests, i.e., IQ Test/Personality Test, as deemed necessary

IV. Documentary Requirements:

• All interested qualified applicants shall submit the following to the Office of the Regional Irrigation Manager, Attn.: Administrative Section, NIA Regional Office IV-B, Bayanan II, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.

1. Letter of Application for submission not later than the 15^th working days from publication.

2. Performance Rating for the last semester/rating period ended; and
3. Photocopy of Eligibility
4. Certificates of trainings/seminars attended.

•  Applicants who fail to submit complete documentary requirements as prescribed shall not be included in the evaluation.

V. Other Relevant Information:

• Candidate/s found by the PSB to have met the minimum qualification requirements (Item I) and have successfully hurdled the Assessment Process (Item III) will be certified by the PSB as qualified for appointment/promotion to the subject vacancy.
