This activity showcased the expertise of Acting Municipal Cooperative Officer Lindon C. Sabar, Municipal Cooperative Development Specialist II Katherine D. They shared valuable insights on cooperative management, economic benefits, and opportunities for generating income through agricultural cooperatives. The participating groups included the Horn Creek Irrigators and Farmers Association Inc., Samahang Magpapatubig ng Balugo Sta. Maria at Villa Celestial Inc., Maibon, Naujan Irrigators' Association, Inc., and Samahang Magpapatubig ng Apitong at Sta. Maria, Inc.
These orientations encouraged farmers and cooperatives to explore innovative, income-generating activities that could enhance their operations, contribute to the growth of their associations, and improve the welfare of their members. The NIA MOMARO Irrigation Management Office is committed to helping these cooperatives build strong foundations, empowering them to succeed in the increasingly competitive agricultural sector.
