Aborlan, Palawan - To speed up the remaining works of the Ibato-Iraan Small Reservoir Irrigation Project (SRIP), NIA MIMAROPA Regional Manager Ronilio M. Cervantes and Palawan Irrigation Management Office (IMO) Division Manager Armando L. Flores held a meeting with Aborlan Local Government Unit (LGU) Mayor Jaime M. Ortega to coordinate necessary support for expediting the project’s completion.
With a completion rate of 92.32% as of February 15, 2024, Regional Manager Cervantes also strategized with the technical and institutional team on ways to accelerate road surfacing, boulder riprap installation, grass sodding, rock toe implementation, and mechanical wye installation.
Other key officials present at the meeting included Sangguniang Bayan Member Arnel V. Ortega, Board Member Rafael V. Ortega Jr., Sagpangan Barangay Captain Hon. Richard F. Dayco, Resident Engineer Gil C. Padua, Engr. Ian Alcantara, Project Manager of Green Asia Development Corporation, and staff from Palawan IMO's Institutional Development Unit (IDU).
