Oriental Mindoro - NIA MIMAROPA under the leadership of Acting Regional Manager Ronilio M. Cervantes, Mindoro Oriental-Marinduque-Romblon (MOMARO) Irrigation Management Office (IMO), headed by Division Manager Gerardo R. Perez conducted a Contractor's Forum on July 14, 2023 at the NIA Training Center, Bayanan II, Calapan City.
During the forum, Engineering and Operations Division Manager Lowell L. Lozano and Administrative and Finance Division Manager Kirsty Caroline M. Hernandez-Aceron, on behalf of Acting Regional Manager Cervantes emphasized the importance of the said activity.
Engineering and Operations Division Manager Lozano further discussed the construction schedule and emphasized the commitments required in terms of manpower and equipment utilization.
Moreover, Administrative and Finance Division Manager Hernandez-Aceron encouraged the participants to work together in overcoming the challenges in the field during project implementation because their commitment to achieve target accomplishment accepts no excuses, but only results.
This activity aimed to provide an open and constructive dialogue among contractors, allowing them to discuss the current status of their respective projects. It also served as a platform for contractors to share updates, address challenges, and review the progress of the projects.
Senior Engineer Daniel Angelo Malabanan also presented the accomplishments of ongoing projects in MOMARO IMO and its revised construction schedule.
Present also during the activity were Senior Accounting Processor Leny M. Lanto, Project-in-Charge (PIC), technical and key personnel of MOMARO IMO, and project contractors.
