Oriental Mindoro - Under the health and wellness program of the agency, NIA MIMAROPA with the support of Acting Regional Manager Ronilio M. Cervantes conducted the Health Advocacy Seminar at the NIA Training Center, Bayanan II, Calapan City.
Said activity aims to promote a healthy immune system and reduce risk relevant to development of preventable diseases. Moreover, this activity aims to gain awareness about the possible health risk of Tuberculosis and HIV Co-infection and learn how to avoid them. The updated Health Protocols following the lifting of the COVID-19 Health Emergency, the Interim Guidelines on the Management and Administration of Covid-19 Vaccine Pfizer Bivalent and the Universal Health Care were also discussed in the said seminar. ©KDT/AdminSec
Project Development Officer Rose Ann V. Laguerta, Health Program Officer II Amanda Daeniele M. Delos Reyes, RN and Nurse II Denise Ann C. Maliwanag-Bautista of the Provincial Department of Health Oriental Mindoro served as the resource speakers in the said seminar.
Administrative and Finance Division Manager Kirsty Caroline M. Hernandez-Aceron in behalf of Acting Regional Manager Cervantes and Engineering and Operations Division Manager Lowell L. Lozano welcomed the participants and the resource speakers during the activity. She said that the agency also focuses on the health of the employees so they can also take good care of themselves, be more productive and more efficient and get back to their families still in good condition after rendering even more than 8 working hours. Further, she emphasized that the employees should be updated with the changes in the new situation and reintegrate safely to the society as CoViD-19 was already lifted by the government.
