NIA MIMAROPA EXTENDED HANDS TO THE FAMILIES OF FISHERFOLKS AFFECTED BY OIL SPILL

Oriental Mindoro - As part of the NIA MIMAROPA 12th Anniversary, the agency headed by Acting Regional Manager Ronilio M. Cervantes distributed packed goods to the families of the fisherfolks affected by oil spill on April 28, 2023.

Over 131 families in Barangay Zone 1, Pola, Oriental Mindoro were very much thankful for the relief goods handed over to them.

NIA MIMAROPA ensures to always be committed to the agency’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as they conduct different activities like this. Said goods distributed to the residents of Pola were from the voluntary contributions of the NIA MIMAROPA employees.

Said activity was participated by the Engineering and Operations Division Manager Lowell L. Lozano, Administrative and Finance Division Manager Kirsty Caroline M. Hernandez Aceron and the key personnel of the Regional Office, Mindoro Oriental-Marinduque-Romblon Irrigation Management Office (IMO), Occidental Mindoro IMO and Palawan IMO led by Division Manager Gerardo R. Perez, Acting Division Manager Maria Victoria O. Malenab and Fidel P. Martinez, respectively and the incoming Division Manager of Palawan IMO Armando L. Flores
