NIA MIMAROPA headed by Acting Regional Manager Ronilio M. Cervantes conducted Training on Republic Act No. 9184 and Updates of its Implementing Rules and Regulations on July 17-21, 2023 at NIA-IA Training Center, Bayanan II, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro
This 5 half-day training aims to familiarize and be accustomed with the standardized bidding procedures and proper preparation of the bidding documents for the procurement of goods, services and infrastructure projects. Moreover, this activity will identify the alternative procurement methods and right applications and guide the personnel about procurement planning and budget linkage including early procurement activities, Penal, Civil and Administrative Provisions and Protest Mechanism. // © AVGB
On July 17, 2023, Atty. Eleanor Echano, CPA discussed the Procurement Organization and the Latest Government Procurement Policy Board (GPPB) Issuances and Updates and the Key Features of Government Performance Reform Act (GPRA) .
Other resource speakers for the said training are Ms. Leslie Cañafranca, Atty. Gerard Lim Chan and Ms. Adolfa Creayla for July 18, 19, 20 and 21, 2023, respectively.
Present also during the training were Administrative and Finance Division Manager Kirsty Caroline M. Hernandez-Aceron, Regional Office Bids and Awards Committee Technical Working Group (TWG) and Secretariat, End-User and procurement personnel. Mindoro Oriental-Marinduque-Romblon Irrigation Management Office (IMO) Division Manager Gerardo R. Perez, Occidental Mindoro IMO Division Manager Maria Victoria O. Malenab, Palawan IMO Division Manager Armando L. Flores and the IMO BAC-TWG, secretariat and procurement personnel of all the IMOs also joined in virtual attendance.
