Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro - NIA MIMAROPA Acting Regional Manager Ronilio M. Cervantes led the Monthly Performance Review of the agency at NIA Training Center, Bayanan II, Calapan City. This activity is designed to closely track the physical and financial accomplishment of project implementation as of September 15, 2023 and to ensure the effective delivery of services to farmer beneficiaries.
Acting Regional Manager Cervantes challenged the participants to consistently do their duties and responsibilities for the continued progress of irrigation development for the farmers.
Various policies and guidelines were discussed during the activity, including Anti-Red Tape Authority Memorandum Circular No. 3, Series of 2023, which focuses on the Campaign Against Fixers. Additionally, topics covered included the Department of Agriculture-National Irrigation Administration Branding, Management of NIA Social Media Accounts, Expeditious Titling of NIA Real Properties through Issuance of Special Patent, as well as Regulations for the October 30, 2023, Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections.
The NIA MIMAROPA Top Management provided instructions and guidance to improve the overall performance of the region. They also gave various reminders related to the discussed guidelines during the activity.
Present also during the activity were Engineering and Operations Division Manager Lowell L. Lozano, Administrative and Finance Division Manager Kirsty Caroline M. Hernandez-Aceron, and key personnel of the Regional Office, Mindoro Oriental-Marinduque-Romblon IMO and Occidental Mindoro. MOMARO IMO Division Manager Gerardo R. Perez, Palawan IMO Division Manager Armando L. Flores and key personnel also joined in virtual attendance.
