Oriental Mindoro - As a leader with a heart for their people, Administrative and Finance Division Manager Kirsty Caroline M. Hernandez-Aceron displays a Pro-Employee Management in NIA MIMAROPA as she fosters an environment that prioritizes the welfare and needs of NIA MIMAROPA employees. As an architect of labor force, she always ensures that all the authorized benefits are provided on prescribed timeline as the employees receive their salaries, wages and allowances every 15th and 30th consistently regardless of the status of appointment. She also supports Comprehensive Health and Wellness Programs equally applied to all. Moreover, as the primary Keeper of Funds, she enables the attainment of the regionwide target absorptive capacity on fund utilization in terms of obligations and disbursements compliant to existing accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
Another pivotal aspect of this manager's exceptional qualities is her active advocacy for gender and development (GAD). She consistently supports GAD activities to create an inclusive and gender-equitable workplace environment. Through her advocacy, she strives to eradicate gender biases and empower individuals to realize their full potential, irrespective of gender.
Beyond her intrinsic commitment to the workplace, AFD Manager Hernandez-Aceron extends her contributions to various communities (barangay locales and Mangyans) through sponsoring and hosting the Dirt Rumble, an annual Enduro mountain bike race on its third installment that particularly provides logistics and financial assistance to various Enduro mountain bike and other sports competitions in Mindoro and even to other competitions outside the province. This act of voluntary service reflects her commitment to society beyond the workplace. Also, her selfless act of voluntary assistance demonstrates a genuine concern for the growth and development of others. Such efforts not only showcase her unselfishness but also embody the concept of corporate social responsibility, establishing a positive reputation for the agency.
With these, AFD Manager Hernandez-Aceron is no doubt a 2nd Field Office Best Division Manager on Support Function for 2022.
